We need to make books cool again

Hairspray is on TV tonight. I was only gonna watch a few minutes but now I'm hooked by Tracy Turnblad and retrotastic 1960's Baltimore. The movie reminds me of my favorite quote by John Waters.

"We need to make books cool again.
If you go home with somebody and they don't have books,
don't fuck 'em."

 Quoted. In a bookstore no less.
