R&B Singer Arrested For DUI

One hit wonder Houston, who sang "I like that" was arrested for a DUI.

Law enforcement told TMZ, the singer was driving erratically near Malibu.

Houston was then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI. Sources say, cops believe Houston was driving under the influence of drugs, not alcohol.

The singer was released from jail Thursday.

Back in 1995 the singer attempted to commit suicide by jumping out of a window while under the influence of PCP. His friends stopped him, but when they locked him in a first-floor room, Houston gouged his eye out with a plastic fork.

"Basketball Wives" Star Tami Roman Sets It Straight Over Lawsuit

"Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman is setting it straight. Tami is the victim in this frivolous lawsuit by Creme de la creme. They failed to pay her on time, which broke any obligation she had to them or their hair products.

The hair company asked the court to stop VH1 from showing any segments where Tami promoted her hair line instead of theirs.

Tami is asking the court to let the show air as is, along with ordering Crème to remove her name and likeness from any products and pay her court costs.

A judge has yet to rule on this case

Demi Lovato: Front-runner On X factor But No Offer !

Demi Lovato is the front-runner for the 4th seat on the "X Factor" judge's panel, but she hasn't gotten an offer yet according to close sources.

Producers are close to sealing a deal with Britney Spears to fill one of the 2 vacant chairs, but that deal is still in negotiations ( it is not closed!) Both sides reportedly expect to reach an agreement and if they do Britney will end up with $15 mil for the season! Not too bad, eh?

Probably producers hesitate about Demi Lovato. Besides, they have every right to be wary. It is obvious that they take into consideration her fiery personality. Just  to mention that Lovato once socked a female back-up dancer in the face during the Jonas Brothers tour.

It has to be mentioned that the other people in contention for the 4th seat are Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, LeAnn Rimes and Fergie. But there have been no offers made to fill that seat.

Didier Zokora assaults Emre Belozoglu in a very painful part of his body but only earns a yellow card

Safe also to say that such a horrible attack was not a result of mere over-exuberance. Emre admitted racially abusing Zokora in a match earlier this season. Despite calling Zokora "'A dirty n*****'," Emre said "In the heat of the moment in matches, you say bad things to one another."

England: Premier League Weekend Review, Reports, Analyses

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson concedes neighbours City have 'probably two' hands on the Premier League trophy as the penultimate weekend of the season ended precisely as it had started with both clubs locked at the top, but with Roberto Mancini's side boasting a significantly superior goal difference. On a day when Manchester City needed a big performance on their travels to Newcastle United it was Yaya Toure who led by example as his exquisitely taken brace was enough to silence an expectant St James' Park, while United beat Swansea by the same 2-0 scoreline in the day's late kick-off. Alan Pardew's UEFA Champions League hopefuls threatened intermittently to do Manchester United a favour but few would deny Mancini's champions elect were full value for a three-point haul that takes them to the cusp of ending a 44-year wait for a league title. Aston Villa are now all but certain of hosting top flight football after holding Tottenham to a draw in the Midlands, while QPR left it late to grab a hugely significant win over Stoke City. Bolton let a two-goal lead slip at home to West Brom to drop two precious points, while Fulham won the day's only mid-table affair in edging past Sunderland. At Molineux a stalemate was played out as Everton could not find a way past already down Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"I Like That" Hitmaker Arrested For DUI !

"I Like That" hitmaker Houston , who famously suffered an emotional breakdown in 2005 and gouged his own eye out with a fork , was arrested this week in L.A. for DUI!

According to law enforcement sources 28-year-old Houston ( full name Houston Summers) was driving erratically near Malibu Wednesday in an older-looking SUV , so cops pulled him over.

According to law enforcement, officers approached the vehicle and it smelled of marijuana. When police questioned Houston, his answers were incoherent.

Houston was then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI. According to sources, cops believe Houston was driving under the influence of drugs , not alcohol!

It has to be mentioned that Houston was released from jail Thursday.

As for Houston's 2005 breakdown , Houston reportedly first attempted suicide by jumping out of a window while under the influence of PCP ( known as "angel dust"). His friends stopped him, but when they locked him in a first-floor room, Houston gouged his eye out with a plastic fork.

Of  course, Houston was institutionalized for a year following the incident. He has since attributed the whole thing to "the pressures of fame." How convenient...

Well, this is terrible...I didn't know about PCP until I searched it on wikipedia. The side effects are terrifying. I am not impressed that Houston attempted suicide and gouge his own eye with a fork. So sad...
